I want to live my life in full (cliche, because who doesn’t?), and I want to see beautiful things and I want to photograph them so that others can see the beauty that I see. This is why photographing makes me happy. I’m sick of the picky, pretentious nonsense I am being fed in school. I realize my professors have their reasons and they really do try their best, but this art/photography world is not something I want to be a part of professionally. Never really was. So now that I’ve found something else I’d like to go to school for, there’s no reason why I should continue with photography. What I was afraid would happen by going to school for photography did happen, but I don’t regret all the amazing classes I took. I learned so much and would not be the photographer I am today. My passion for this art has slipped twice now and has returned, hopefully for good. I had this hope that once I moved to England, my passion would return. England was the reason I began photographing and it is now the reason I will never stop.
